I think we should appreciate 80’s/90’s artists not from Japan who had to somehow translate anime characters into not anime characters Must have been a real struggle

Nintendo Power vol. 62 (July 1994) - Super Street Fighter II SNES coverage. Since this comes from an era when companies thought Japanese art wouldn’t appeal to Americans, we get to see some interesting, Americanized Street Fighter art here…

Just realized I never shared this here TMNT art in the style of old Bengus art (circa MvC1.) Made the Turtles, and was initially just going to add April O'Neil, ended up adding Splinter, Bebop and Rocksteady as well. I made these during a number of livestreams. Could be fun to add more.

Square layout of the Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles, along with April O'Neal, Bebop, Rocksteady and Master splinter in the style of old Marvel Vs Capcom 1 portraits. The colors are very intense.

Now this right here is the ideal male character design, the voice, the shape, the beard, the LOOK 😳😳😳😫🥰😍🥰😍😍😌🤩🤩🥸🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️😳😱🫣🫣😲🫪🫪🫪🫪🫪🫪🫪🫪🫪🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴
