Beautiful day for a break from the lab! The WWET Lab crew enjoyed some fresh air and great views while hiking at Mt. Sugarloaf this weekend. 🥾🌲 @umassamherst.bsky.social @umassengineering.bsky.social
WWET Lab joined the Hitchcock Harvest: A Celebration of Sustainability to share our poster “From Rain to Tap”, highlighting the Hitchcock Center’s net-positive water system and future innovations in sustainable water treatment!💧🌿 @umassamherst.bsky.social @umassengineering.bsky.social
Gave a talk at my alma matar, University of British Columbia in Vancouver, about my PFAS degradation research from @mcbeathlab.bsky.social at @umassamherst.bsky.social. Always special to share my work with the community that inspired my journey!
Welcome (and welcome back)! 🎉 WWET Lab kicked off the term with our first group meeting, celebrating new members joining the lab and returning students continuing their journey. Excited for another semester of impactful research ahead! 💧⚡️ @umassamherst.bsky.social @umassengineering.bsky.social
Exciting news! WWET Lab was interviewed by Agilent Technologies on our PFAS research. Using Agilent LC-MS & GC-MS enables us to push impactful PFAS science forward. Stay tuned for the upcoming interview video! #PFAS #Research @umassamherst.bsky.social @umassengineering.bsky.social
Excited to share our Environmental Science & Technology study! Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy tracks wetting inside hydrophobic desalination membranes in real-time, guiding fixes for longer-lasting clean-water systems. @pubs.acs.org pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/...
Revealing Wetting Patterns of Porous Hydrophobic Membranes for Desalination Using Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy
Membrane distillation (MD) holds great promise for high salinity wastewater desalination, but membrane pore wetting remains a major hurdle to the process. We develop a novel framework to dynamically m...
