Spent this weekend as a true child of my father: going to an octogenarian geologist's rock and fossil open house, impulse purchasing a Thomas Guide from 1999 on eBay, then taking Dad out to lunch and talking about film formats

Freeman Tilden, Interpreting our Heritage—published in 1957 but an incredible synthesis of how to present history and information to the public David Roediger, The Wages of Whiteness: Race and the Making of the American Working Class—blew my hair back when I first read it, still incredible

If you're running a Steam event & you want participating games to promote it, with your graphics I'm begging you: - space for key art that is 1920x1080 OR a Steam header size - no gradient / color overlays - no excessive objects poking into frame

woke up early on Saturday to camp out at a vintage store that doesn’t take orders over the phone OR online, but I am now the proud owner of this print of a Gemini spacecraft from an engineer at Gulton Industries in 1962

Slightly faded print of a Gemini capsule in a frame

For future japes, let's diſcuſs proper use of the Long S (aka ſ) - uſed at the ſtart & middle of words - not at the end - not uppercaſe - not after an abbreviating apoſtrophe (ie "clos'd") - not adjacent to f - double s ("ſſ") is always long unleſs at the end - this liſt is not exhauſtive
