The SCREEN Act just failed to pass in the Senate Commerce Committee! 🎉 Enormous thanks to the thousands (!!) of you who told your Senators to vote no! Your voice matters and you should feel good that you made a difference. Obviously, the fight isn't over, but this was an important victory.

Thinking of making a testing Discord for By Mortal Hands to give people the material and proofread and test it so it makes sense.... Will have to think and gather if people are interested because I only got 3-4 people who have shown interest 🤔 (which I am so grateful for tbh!)
Comic day today, working on applying what I learned about value and composition to paint and organize the scenes :3 Will be fun, making good progress!
Finally back home from AWU! It was an absolute blast to hang with everyone in Utah and sling candles in a new city! The staff was outstanding as was everyone I met in and around con! Leftovers and restocks will be hitting the website later this week after we rest up!
There is no ethical consumption of Harry Potter. And not in the usual "no ethical consumption under capitalism" way. In the "your fandom is now comprised of hate symbols" way.

And every time you engage with this franchise, you signal to the industry that there's still money in it and they should keep pumping out content from full-cast audiobooks to book box partnerships.
While the SCREEN Act failed in the committee, KOSA did move forward. Contact your senators immediately demanding it be opposed, and keep the pressure up until it comes to a vote in the Senate
