I didn't realise you could use base code for compo entries in #LudumDare... Maybe I should try for that next time with a bunch of juice stuff prepped in advance. I've only done one compo entry previously and it was tight, but a 2 day jam is a lot easier to fit into my life than a 3 day one.

I haven't participated in #LudumDare all that much in recent years, and still, the last two times I have, the themes have basically been repeats of ones I've done before. I have *two* previous entries that could fit this theme! #ldjam #GameDev
A bit of #GameDev today in preparation for #LudumDare next weekend. I started a major refactor of my dialogue graph editor after the last one I participated in (57 I think), but fell off it in May after biting off more than I could chew. Now I have no idea where I was with it :try_not_to_cry:
The Matchbox movie seemed like quite a cynical collection of things and people middle-aged men would have liked when they were kids: toy cars, gun fights, John Cena, Jessica Biel... And then it's also an ad for Leatherman utility knives, which I guess middle-aged men are supposed to like now.
