We need to be better at trying to get people with head injuries from being shot to leave the protest for medical treatment. It is already hard to make sound decisions after a few rounds of tear gas add a concussion, and it's worse. I did not follow that advice in 2020. I regret it.

Head injury = automatic ER visit. First 48 hours, watch for: • Vomiting • Seizure • Slurred speech • Weakness, numbness, or tingling esp. on one side • Increasing confusion • Increasing restlessness or agitation • Extreme drowsiness • Slow to respond to questions or stimuli

So… I don’t see ads on here, which is weird considering this app is free to use. Apparently bsky also hosts their own infra and recently had to scale to handle the influx of users, which is crazy expensive in upfront costs. So, who/what is exactly paying for all of this?
