The #CanChamp quarterfinals start today! I was surprised to see such an early kick off for Saint-Laurent vs. Forge only to realize that Supra vs. Atlético is being played in the same stadium four hours later!
I have no issues with that foul being called in the area, I just wish that the same foul wasn’t waved away 10 times each match in this tournament.
The refereeing in this tournament has been very lenient on fouls with lots that are seemingly obvious fouls being waved away. Surprising to see that penalty given on such an innocuous challenge.
Penalty or not, I don’t understand how the referee mimics diving with his hand and doesn’t book Kane.
If you’re going to throw your $20 beer up in the air as a goal celebration, probably worth having a look over at the assistant referee to see if they have their flag up first.

Bit of a surprise find when walking to dog earlier. Not sure how long someone had this pile of Vancouver Grizzlies boxes in storage but seems like they just dumped them.
Cepero had 1 goal in 15 matches played. Pretty decent return.

Giving a penalty and a 2nd yellow for denying an obvious goal scoring opportunity only the have VAR call you over and then give the player a straight red is so perfectly CONCACAF.

It’s wild to me that Steven Caldwell doesn’t look to see where the ball is for an onside/offside decision. The Montreal attacker seemed to be goal-side of the attacker but level with the ball. #CHIvMTL
