This bill in OK is exactly what Project 2025 threatened: to make all pornography illegal, and criminalize the people who make it, using a WILDLY broad definition of pornography, which would include any book with sex in it. We're talking jail time for romance authors. oksenate.gov/press-releas...

How to critically read a text. This is what the author wrote, here’s one way to interpret what they’re saying and here’s why I think it’s interesting or significant. It’s an invaluable skill. And increasingly rare across different mediums.

Daily reminder that the underlying purpose of AI is to allow wealth to access skill while removing from the skilled the ability to access wealth.

Remember to identify scapegoat tactics when we see them. Are immigrants buying up all our properties and taking jobs, or maybe there should be policy to protect rent and housing prices? Are homeless littering our streets or is there lack of infrastructure that the gov doesn't want to invest in?

Right, done with bird app. Hopefully I can build here. I just started following a bunch of authors, editors and writing agents there to start connecting with the industry, but hopefully they're here too
