Some good news. A MA district court temporarily blocked the Trump admin from stripping tens of thousands of asylum applicants & TPS holders of their work permits at least until 8/5. This came out of a lawsuit filed by SEIU, @32bjseiu.bsky.social & partner orgs. www.aljazeera.com/news/2026/7/...

The order prevents thousands from El Salvador, Sudan and Ukraine from losing work authorisation while lawsuit proceeds.

Every family deserves stability. Yet with this administration ending protections for TPS holders and DACA renewal delays, working people are losing their jobs, businesses are losing employees, and our economy will suffer. Tell your representative to take action on the #DreamandPromise Act now!

IMPORTANT (share widely!): Haitian & Syrian TPS holders remain in status for now. ✅ Contact your union rep if your employer attempts to terminate you due to the Supreme Court decision and because of the 7/10 date posted on the USCIS website–THIS IS INCORRECT. Find your local: seiu.co/FindMyLocal

We’re suing! SEIU and @32bjseiu.bsky.social are joining partners in a lawsuit challenging the Trump admin's efforts to make it harder for immigrants to prove work authorization and for people seeking protection to get work permits. Working people are fighting back in the streets & in the courts!

The history of denying citizenship is a history of exclusion and discrimination. From the 1857 U.S. Supreme Court ruling denying Black people U.S. citizenship, to the Trump administration's attempt to end #BirthrightCitizenship. They want to decide who belongs in America. But we refuse to be erased.

While the SCOTUS decision on birthright citizenship offers a moment of relief, no one is truly safe under an administration that prioritizes fear over the needs of working people. We need affordable healthcare, gas, & groceries, not more attacks on immigrant families.

While today's SCOTUS decision on birthright citizenship offers a moment of relief, no one is truly safe. An attack on birthright citizenship is a direct attack on communities of color whose labor, traditions, hardships and victories helped shape this nation for generations. We will not be erased.

Young professionals are fighting back in the courts after processing delays caused them to lose their DACA status, preventing them from working in the professions they studied for, supporting their families, and leaving them vulnerable to deportation.

Ohio Catholic bishops are calling it like it is, ending Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Haitians is “a moral and social failure unfolding before our eyes.” We will all feel the impact when community members are stripped of work permits & deportation protections. Call Congress: 1-855-481-5108

We won't back down! After the Supreme Court's immoral ruling allowing TPS protections for Haitians and Syrians to end, working people gathered on the Court’s steps to demand Congress act now to #ProtectTPS holders and create a pathway to citizenship for all.

Their mother's DACA status was still valid, but ICE deported her after detaining her on the way to church. Her U.S.-citizen children are now paying the price. “I was crying... My parents don’t have a bad background, they never, like, had any criminal records.”

The Trump administration is deporting ‘Dreamers.’ Their kids are paying for it.

Jessica Treviño Villegas’ DACA status was still valid when she was deported to Mexico. Her children, who are U.S. citizens, are now navigating life without her.

Even as US citizens, Ana Temu Otting & her husband worry that the SCOTUS decision on birthright citizenship could strip their son of his basic right to US citizenship. This attack on our constitutional rights could threaten citizenship for generations of Americans.

Families fear what’s next in Trump birthright citizenship case

Millions of people who consider themselves Americans worry a Supreme Court ruling could strip them of their identity and citizenship.
