No Kings Day was one of the largest days of protest in US history. From deep red small towns to our largest cities, millions of people turned out to make it clear that the American people will not bow to fascism. #NoKings

Pope Francis showed the world how to lead with empathy and humility. Extending a hand to help anyone in need, "the People's Pope" inspired millions who drew strength and compassion from him to embrace peace. May his memory be a blessing.

Please repeat over and over: “Bending to the whims of a bully will not end his cruelty. It will only embolden him. The response to authoritarianism isn’t acquiescence. Bullies respond to one thing, and one thing only: a punch in the face.” —Gov. JB Pritzker

What frightens me is the possibility that the government knows Abrego Garcia is dead and is trying to hide the fact from the courts and the American people until they have another calamity to divert the press. Because this is pure delay and fill the zone with shit.

One of the striking things about the Abrego Garcia case is that would be trivially easy for the government to demand his return and give apologists an easy talking point: "Yes, sure, mistakes happen but see, they care about getting it right & doing it legally after all." But nope.

A reminder that if the government can send migrants to a prison camp without any due process, it can send U.S. citizens there, too. I know because this happened to me and my family in 1942.

Americans are paying the price for Donald Trump's tariffs. His unnecessary trade war raises the cost at the grocery store, gas pump, and car dealership. Just to help his friends at Mar-a-Lago instead of working families.

Results of Trump’s “Liberation Day” announcement: - Higher prices on everyday goods like coffee, electronics, and clothing.  - Anxiety and confusion among working families.  - The stock market dropping in record fashion. - Retaliation from our international partners and allies.
