I lived in New Haven for a couple years and genuinely loved it. I’m always a little confused when I meet other people who lived there who dislike it. This is based on one weekend trip many years ago so take it with a grain of salt, but I think Omaha is also underrated.

Me in high school journalism class: why would I ever need to develop the skill of writing about a topic I know nothing about and have no opinion on? Me in grad school writing class referee reports on papers that are way outside of my wheelhouse: *cracks knuckles* I was born for this
