Big selection pressure on humans does not happen that often - we are good at moving and adapting. But the Black Death changed us, increasing the risk of Crohn's disease. More vigorous inflammation in the terminal ileum helped survival then, and boosts CD now. www.nih.gov/news-events/...

Another piece of evidence in support of Epstein-Barr virus infections being responsible for multiple sclerosis. This is huge. And again, it's huge because a vaccine may be able to eliminate or dramatically reduce the incidence of multiple sclerosis.

Since only God could attain perfection there was a medieval monastic scribal practice of deliberately introducing a spelling or grammatical error as an act of humility. I myself always try for four or five errors per syllabus lest there be any doubt as to my humility.
