Well this was fun. Viltrox 9mm for APS-C attached to sony a7R3 - I did notice the image quality drops hard for full frames but all the vignetting and flares made the experience very enjoyable even while melting under heat. #stunday #photography #streetphotography #gallery #사진놀이

It's a picture in portrait format. The black silhouette of Mt Saint Michel is seen drenched in the all too familiar orange glow of human-made light pollution at the bottom of the picture. Behind it rises the milky-way centre with thousands and thousands of stars in a blue-blackish night sky.

I composited this from two different focal lengths, as Mt Saint Michel was only a 3rd of the size in the wide-angle shot and I wanted the photo to represent what I saw with my own eyes. So the silhouette at the bottom is edited in from a closer photo, to make it appear bigger.
