As my own institution devalues library work (by offering 16/18 full time staff a voluntary severance package) AND it begins a new AI initiative I feel a lot of this. I use AI for scripting bc I’m not a dev, don’t have access to one, and it helps me get shit done, but I’d still rather burn the looms
