I had a great game for our BBC B computer called Hunky Egg, which was basically (iirc) Quasimodo going around Notre Dame collecting eggs. It took nearly a week of spare time for my sister and I to type all the code in.

“Verify your age” bitch if I wanted to play a game on my computer I had to TYPE ALL THE CODE IN FIRST. Magazines would have the code printed in them and you had to type it all in perfectly and if you fucked ONE SINGLE THING you had to start over!
