Panel 1: we see a group of D&D-style adventurers walking down a crypt passageway, lit by torchlight. The halfling, Xolos, says "Some fancy-looking tombs down here." The half-elf at the front of the group, Delphine, says "Shadowkeep used to be capital of the Sevythiel Kingdom, long ago."

Panel 2: We see Xolos stop in his tracks as Delphine walks on. Delphine says: "These are kings' tombs." Xolos says "So you're saying they buried RIGH people down here?"

Panel 3: The notoriously klepto-tendencied gnome, Odesza, steps up behind Xolos and the both share a conspiratorial smirk. Odesza says: "Think they buried the riches too?" Xolos says: "Only one way to find out..."

Panel 1: we see a close up of Xolos smashing open a tomb cover with a crowbar, the sound effect says WHACK!

Panel 2: Xolos and Odesza peer into the tomb to see a skeleton decked out in jewels and a crown. They both look gleeful and ready to rob.

Panel 3: Delphine, and the kind-hearted gnome Craig, turn back to look at the others, looking mad and upset. Delphine shouts: "Xolos, what the FUCK?" Craig says "That's kinda disrespectful.

Panel 4: Odesza and Xolos look back at the others, frozen, hands caught in the cookie jar.

Panel 5: Same composition as panel 4, but Odesza and Xolos have returned to their looting, ignoring the others. Odesza says "Ah well. It's open now anyway."

Panel 1: as Odesza and Xolos walk away, the party life and death cleric, a naiive red tiefling woman named Nix Nova, steps solemly up to the coffin the others robbed. For a moment you might think she's going to utter a quiet prayer.

Panel 2: But nope, we see a closeup of her reaching into the coffin.

Panel 3: We see Nix rooting around in there, sticking her tongue out in concentration.

Panel 4: She's pulled out some bones, including a skull. Oblivious to everyone else staring at her, bemused, she inspects the bones like she's checking them for quality the way you would check lumber at the hardware store.

Panel 5: Nix turns around, finally noticing the others who are just standing and staring.

Panel 6: We close in on Nix, as she still holds up the bones in each hand. She looks a little surprised at their surprise. Nix says: "What? It was open anyway."

Panel 1: A wide panel of the whole group as Nix stashes the bones in her side bag. Xolos says "You're really fuckin' weird." However, the party's rogue elf Eliana has become distracted by something off frame and is no longer paying attention to the others.

Panel 2: We see Eliana walking away from the others, towards a shaft of rippling light ahead down the passage. Off-frame, we see Nix says "Bones have NUMEROUS practical, clerical applications--"

Panel 3: close up on Eliana as she interrupts. Eliana says "Hey, everyone.."

Panel 4: From behind Eliana, we see her look back to the others, almost silhouetted against the bright light shimmering down from above. We don't know what's in front of her yet, but she thinks they've found what they're down here to find. Eliana says "I think this might be it."

I've wanted to do these "inside the backpack" drawings for ages and I'm finally managing it. Let's start with Odesza.
