You really really owe it to yourself to play the original OoT. Even if the new remake is amazing and even aside from the 3DS version there is real life magic in that cartridge. So much history and tenderness and actual masterful storytelling. I think this game matches MGS' cutscene direction easy
FF7's ending is probably more fresh in my mind than most because of Ever Crisis, but Cloud's thesis at the very end is "It sounds good to say you're fighting for the planet, but in reality we are fighting for more personal, selfish reasons" so it's not a stretch or perversion of the themes really
Saw this comparison and gamers I’m afraid this design is actually pretty good…
Wow this really makes the design click into place
this is an interesting perspective from imamura i also assumed it was mostly meant to look puppet-like, but it's nice to have an opinion from someone who actually knows the man
Dude it's so unfair, this kid should be playing Roblox with Zelda not fighting monsters and not facing the horrors 😭

Gonna be honest, i'm obsessed with Chapter 5's weird route right now. Can't stop thinking about it; it's really evocative and stayed in my mind. Just super impactful and interesting (and obviously disturbing) I really can't wait man, even though it's gonna be years until we get something
If only the Wii Remote had a gyro built-in from day 1, instead of MotionPlus being too little too late. Imagine the generational impact. No waggle legacy. There would be more inspired hearts. Fewer kids growing up to build datacenters

This is an odd thing to say, but I'm kinda glad that people are so hit or miss, ride or die on the new designs for Star Fox and the newly announced Ocarina of Time remake. Nintendo isn't just playing it safe with the designs; they're trying something interesting (whether for good or ill, we'll see)
