Finally, it’s raining! ☔️ Not a drop since June 19th, and at least 2 heatwaves. #clivia first flowers (rescued from a green waste bin 3y ago—and it has worked!)🌱

🌱 #sixonSaturday from my tiny garden. We are heading into another week of heat and no rain unfortunately. Luckily my diary is fairly empty so I can shelter in my cool house and restrict gardening activities to early morning and evening. I managed to cut my hedge this week so my green bin is full!

A collage of six photos from my tiny garden this week. Clockwise the first picture is a pink Hydrangea. I am keeping it alive in the heat by watering twice a day. The pink and white verbena were planted in a hanging pot last year and survived the winter. Next is a round head of tiny yellow flowers of Bupleurum. Below are the pink and yellow flowers of Lantana. The tiny yellow flowers are Linaria and last is an orange Calendula.
