spent the day visiting friends for her birthday in clacton. fella at the club we were at on a mike "and we have visitors from Liverpool so everybody watch your cars and keep everything checked coz u know what they're like." fucking fuming, like being in a time warp. the scruffy bastard.

Waiting for a left knee. The right one not much better.
this is exactly what i want us to be doing. there are footballers around the world who will improve us as a squad. i've never seen this cat play but he's obvs decent. i can tell u that barcola is shit hot, but there are loads of lads. get some of them in - like Munoz.

"and then divock put it in the top corner....remember....leo..."
😁👋🏼 Leo Messi and Jürgen Klopp.
there's always one mental team in a world cup who sack their manager mid tournament.
@tlw1dan.bsky.social just listened to the 1st houllier pod mate, really good. couple of my own bits from that season, the ian marshall leicester game to make it worse, had the car window put through on returning to the car. worst night ever - still talk about it to this day.
if ibou leaving is confirmed then it's like they're deserting a sinking ship with alli and curtis wanting to as well. if no one left, we needed 2 wide forwards, 1 centre forward, a midfielder and a centre half. with those leaving/rumoured to be leaving, u can add another 3/4 to that. worrying.
🥲
"There’s something real about Liverpool. People here can spot nonsense a mile off, and I’ve always respected that. After nine years here, I’ve realised there’s room in my heart for two cities." Andy Robertson pens an open letter to the city of Liverpool. www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/footba...
while i don't like the booing, this is the correct response. grav could learn a lesson from joe.
🗣️Joe Gomez on boos at Anfield: "We get it, we understand it. For us older boys who have experienced so many good times here it does hurt." "If it didn't then you shouldn't still be here. We want to make it right." "It's a reaction to the whole year, and that's fair enough."
@theliverpoolway.bsky.social do u think the pod will ever be put on YouTube lads? Any plans for this in the future?
@dahly-1878.bsky.social had no idea this happened! what could have been! koeman's red tree is far less worse than howard's red car! 😂
NEW: How Everton’s greatest-ever manager almost joined Liverpool – ‘Sell that RED car!’ #lfc
think @dahly-1878.bsky.social was in goal for this game 🤣🤣🤣
Prescot Cables 1951.
spot on mate. defensively excellent but couldn't string 3 passes together first half or win a midfield battle/challenge. suppose another plus is that their heads didn't drop after the first disallowed goal which 99% of teams would have done. sick of saying, need to build on this but...
Liverpool largely dreadful going forward but, in fairness, defended well - Ibrahima Konaté again excellent - and that meant they stayed in the game long enough to nick it. Key to that was Rio Ngumoha. Excellent when he came on. Whatever happens this season, he has been a long-term plus for the Reds.
@terraceultra.com Now then Fran, love the latest La Republica ones. I did a form to order one a few months ago but got a new phone and have only just got Telegram on it! Have I missed out?
looking for a nice hotel in the lakes to book for a weekend away with my wife. any recommendations?
lot of negativity still even after a win, suppose people are yearning for klopp style football which i get but he is unique. read someone say that it will never be as much fun as it was under him and it won't. think some people need to accept that he's left to be honest. up the negative reds.
for obvious reasons, not watched much match of the day since september but when the fuck did danny murphy turn into spud off trainspotting?
rodgers 'self preservation' has always been there. ask colin pascoe.
I’ll be honest, I’m finding it really difficult to be too angry with any of them. It’s incredibly frustrating to watch, but it’s clear they’re trying and I think they deserve applause for that given what happened in the summer. I no others will be fuming, which is totally fair.
great thread this. pretty much where i'm at with it all. shite week but thought we had chances and final passes yesterday that were sloppy. international break comes at a good time. time to regroup and hopefully get on a run when we come back.
Some Liverpool thoughts .. this ‘gameweek’ last year they beat Crystal Palace 1-0. The week before they beat Wolves 2-1. Two wins by small margins. In their last two games they have lost by small margins (two stoppage time goals). This is largely how it’s been under Slot and what he wants to change.
Just for perspective, a few weeks ago roughly 100,000 turned up for the London Trans+ Pride march. By contrast fewer than 3,000 ACROSS THE WHOLE COUNTRY, have turned up to anti-asylum "protests". Yet we are meant to take the latter as "the voice of the people" and the former as "the minority".
love this commentary, cue us trying to reinact it with commentary in maricourt the next day.
