I no longer have a slab leak from my hot water line. And I didn't even have to sell a kidney. My neighbor did it, for free, like paid his other construction friends to do the parts he couldn't. This is a pay it forward sort of thing. I helped his mom. He helped me. But honestly it's so much more

So are they allowed to admit McConnell is dead now or do they have to wait another couple weeks? Everything is just so corrupt in the government now.

I made sourdough bread because I was recently given some starter. And who doesn't want their oven on at 450⁰ for an hour when it's a 100⁰ outside. I apparently need to wait until tomorrow to find out if it has a decent crumb.

Watching the guys find and fix this slab leak have made it even more clear how beyond my skill set this is. Fix the vacuum? Sure. Set a toilet? Uh maybe, if someone strong lifts. Jackhammer the floor, find the leak, fix the leak, pour concrete, retile? Definitely not.

My entryway is currently being jackhammered up by three kind angels in disguise. Honestly, I cannot express what a miracle their help is.

I saw a woman at the Quick Quack car vacs today wearing a four hook lace underwire bra as a shirt with jeans today. I believe I may just have hit the get off my lawn stage of aging. These youguns and their crazy fashions!

People are coming to my house. I am in no mood for that. I am so tired. I told them they could help themselves to cereal and milk, but I would be in bed. They're still coming. I am invested in my husband having positive interactions with human. This is positive human interaction.

I have moved emptied and moved the massive dresser/shelves by the entryway where we will need to jackhammer up the floor Monday or Tuesday. They've been there for twenty years. It's like an archeological dig behind and under these things. Homeschooling stuff from 2011. DVDs long lost. Yikes.

I have zero desire to mow the lawn this morning, but I am big and brave and strong so I will do it. Better now than when it hits 100⁰.

I've just gotten a potential solution to my leak in the pipes under my slab foundation situation. The relief of having a solution to my unsolveable problem is exquisite. My brain is quiet(ish) for the first time in two weeks.
