French forces held a fierce defensive perimeter around Dunkirk and lost 18,000 souls. 40,000 became POWs. Without their resolve we wouldn’t have our nation’s story. It’s estimated 20-60k French resistance fighters died during the war. You’re only diminishing yourself with comments like this.

It seems to me perfectly reasonable to oppose the Russian invasion of Ukraine AND also NOT buy into 'the Russians are coming for us soon' bullshit. They've apparently been coming for us my whole life and they've never got close, in fact they're currently further away than ever.

Here we go again. Russia simultaneously 'at the door' and getting their arse kicked in Ukraine. The only door their troops want right now is the front door back home.
