made it to floor 400 in raiders. still far from being capped so can probs go 500 if I had more time (600+ if I level dynamo or something and abuse danger boost), but unfortunately I have other things demanding my time rn would have loved to try more builds but it takes forever to level other stuff

raiders is super fun. love how you can just queue up to join randos in like 10 seconds need to figure out a fun power tank build though. really wish parts for non-equipped tanks would drop more often, feel kinda stuck playing speed tank (which is super fun but would still prefer more variety)

I think the thing that offends me the most about splatoon 3's patches is that the developers keep attacking degenerate playstyles that only exist because of their own failures. "l3 is being used to spam specials" no shit. you buffed hammer in the dumbest way possible and all l3 can do is paint.

ok I know I said I'm done with splatoon and asked all of you to go away, but which dumb fuck developer did this? about the only thing l3 is good for is painting, and now we're giving that up in favour of... improving its ability to fail to kill people when you hit all three shots in a burst?

firstly stop following me, splatoon people, that ship sailed so long ago that it'll soon be arriving on another continent and giving the native population smallpox secondly why did I click on a splatoon tweet, I didn't need to know that people say the word "hyperdive" now

god damn I'm so keen for mario kart world it looks so fun. definitely getting all the old heads back together kinda wish skype wasn't dead, then we could have the old mkw vibes too. maybe chatango's still a thing?

in a shocking twist, I think this is a bit too spicy for twitter japan has overcooked their comps in four out of four worlds appearances. at first I thought this was an issue with the, shall we say, boyz' club (ggboyz + calamari) scrimming each other and ending up with bad ideas

this is more of an oceanic problem, but playing in oce tournaments, I'm worried that the lack of exposure to high level gameplay means it's basically impossible to get good at splatoon 3 and I don't just mean matchmaking; even when you get jp games, it's clear there's been a brain drain there too

I think one of the hardest parts of playing splat 3 at a high level is that cooler warps your ability to assess how valuable something is. it's through that lens that the last year or so of meta development makes the most sense and how you can figure out what the next steps should be.

so I've been thinking I could use bluesky to post my actual views on things, since my twitter presence for the last couple years has been dedicated to stirring the pot. mind you splatoon 3 is still an utter failure in my eyes but that doesn't mean we can't be constructive in our criticism
