Any teacher can tell you how this works - your class is doing almost 100% of their homework so you stop checking, then nobody does homework any more. The checking isn’t to see if they did the work, it’s to get them to do it in the first place.

Guy on the radio earlier saying we should all save our shower water and use that to flush the toilet. Around 60 companies are responsible for 80% of all global carbon emissions; telling us as individuals to do something without addressing that is just gaslighting and guilt tripping.
I don’t like to donate to politicians, even the ones I like. I just think money for campaigns is yucky, so I don’t feel good about donating at all. However if @hcrichardson.bsky.social runs for senate in Maine, I will donate. I hope the Maine Dems are listening.
