"Of all the Scott Arnolds in the world, you're the Charlie Browniest." I draw pictures and design UI. Not necessarily in that order.

RIP Sam Kieth ... I got to contribute to "Image Grand Disaster" a few years back. Inspired by Cartoonist Kayfabe, I riffed on Piskor's "Hip Hop Family Tree" and told the Image story. Part of doing that was getting to allude to the second wave, and naturally I chose Sam Kieth (1/3)

A recap of our 2025 episodes. One big highlight was chatting with Jim Reid and William Reid of @themarychain.bsky.social about their iconic debut album. PSYCHOCANDY was so ahead of its time and it was a thrill to hear all that went into making it. (1/12) lifeoftherecord.com#/the-jesus-a...

I think the KS link says it best: "no previous experience with Wordburgling necessary..." Just hit the link and score a copy of this bad boy. It's possible there's even a one-pager from an artist you follow (it's me! I'm the artist you follow... Or it's others, because you should follow 'em all)!

Realized I didn't report this... One of the more intense covers to draw... A deep dive on an album I was less familiar with. Speaks volumes of the podcast that it's always worth tuning in, even for albums you may not know well... The insights are often universal.

For the 15th anniversary of THE MONITOR by @titus-andronicus.bsky.social, we spoke to Patrick Stickles about how it was made. Leaving New Jersey, discovering pot and Ken Burns's Civil War documentary and taking a big swing at the rock album of the century. Listen: lifeoftherecord.com#/titus-andro...

Finished "What's Next: A Backstage Pass to The West Wing" - a much needed reminder of the hope that can remain inside politics. Thank you Melissa Fitzgerald and Mary McCormack for the much needed reminder. (And I loved the Bartlet pin on the cover, so drew that in the afterglow of the book).

An illustration of a "Bartlet for America" pin, representing Martin Sheen as President Bartlet (his character from The West Wing TV show).

As I slowly climb out from behind deadlines, and start posting new art again, a few classics from my prior IG account... The 6 Fan Arts has been a great way to draw a bunch of stuff I don't normally draw...
