God, what a horrible person. When all the centrists were bitching about cancel culture going to far I kept pitching a column about why social opprobium serves a key function--keeping bigots from acting out. No one bit, but this is exactly what I'm talking about.

Saturday night I saw Astro-Naught, Bessemer Saints, After the Apocalypse, and Titans of Mars play a fun show at Afterlife in Akron. I'm always impressed by how good the sound is in that venue.

I have seen this band play a few times now, the Gibson Firebird played by the guitarist on the right is gorgeous to the point I'd be afraid to touch it lol.

Last night, I saw Celestyn, Avowal, and Sulaco play an awesome show at the Zephyr in Kent. Trash Mountain and Axioma also played - it was a great weekend of heavy music in the western reserve.

Last night, I saw Shannon Narducy & friends play some R.E.M. songs in Cleveland. The whole band was great, but I really loved Wurster's take on the drum parts.
