Was really struggling for the past weeks and thinking about giving up music, etc, etc. I hurt my back some days ago, got 3 days off work and managed to write a new 20 min very political Spectral Lore song. Out probably as a single/ep in the next months. Things looking up.
In northern Greece migrants in detention (a lot being held more than a year in horrible, inhuman conditions) are rising up again. Some people escaped and the Greek state paints them as criminals who are a danger to public safety, putting bounties on them, just because they dared to cross a border.

While I post pretty much just antifascist bands here, my understanding of a political scene in metal isn't "you should only listen to RABM". It's to exist in safe, creative and radical spaces. Leftist art should be truly inspiring and it should be allowed to use outside influences to do so.
Tik-tok-ization has gotten so widespread that it doesn't feel like artists being creative/sharing anymore, just desperate and commercialized, to the point where it's now becoming uncool. Especially because you "have" to do it. Like when I see artists with JUST attention-grabbing shorts, I'm like nah
