Anyone who complains that cyclists slow down, look both ways, and roll through stop signs is cordially invited to sit on my porch and watch car after car blast through the stop sign at the end of my street without slowing down.

Motonormativity is thinking that safe bike infrastructure is incumbent upon the behavior of bicyclists conforming to some arbitrary standard. Infrastructure for cars is never held to this standard.

I'm working with the windows open, because it's a nice day, and the contractor crew renovating the house across the street seems to have several factions battling over the music selections. Don't think I've ever heard a pivot from Wu Tang to Dave Matthews Band before.

NICHE BUFFALO CONTENT: It's pretty awesome that I can bike all the way across the city from Delaware Park to the West Side Rowing Club on trails and separated bike paths. The advances we've made here in bicycle infrastructure over the last twenty years have been incredible.
