I make games and art based on my characters. View here: https://inkdragonworks.itch.io/ https://www.deviantart.com/inkdragonworks/gallery

I feel bad that I don't talk much about Poppin & Jupa and showing who they are but while I get ideas for comics, my thought process is that it feels better to do that stuff when their game is closer to release, so that it feels like it can coincide better with building up interest.

A lot of shit on social media feels like "Wow it's great how this story finally depicted people treating Monday like it's just another day or start of a week and NOT some horrible thing!" and it'll have like 10k likes cause it's contrarian.

I think and yap a lot but I kinda prefer making stuff that feels simple to me... like encapsulating the core of what I like and care about with an idea. I don't really want to make anything pretentious or subversive. I guess the closest I get is deconstructive...

Claymation/stopmotion/traditional animation lends itself well to both visual identity and creating multiple assets cause those are processes built for animation specifically. When it comes to replicating the look of yarn or felt or such, it might as well be a texture.
