can you guys retire "the right wing / chuds don't know what to do with trans men and forget they exist and will be So Confused by them!!!!" already. they are fully aware trans men exist and the thing they do to trans men is violently abuse and murder them

one thing i would like is for nolan fanboys to stop trying to act like they had ever once heard anything about the text beyond than the names odysseus & helen before now. the first time you ever heard the name "troilus" is THIS SENTENCE. and you had to google it to see if he's in the odyssey

other things that have improved in my lifetime: - ozone layer. we actually fixed that, as a worldwide society - we dramatically reduced the amount of lead exposure - fuel efficiency of every type of vehicle - violent crime peaked in the 1990s and steadily declined until the pandemic

to the guy asking if anything has gotten better since the 80s: bro, smog

I will probably end up watching this but right now the title just makes me think "as both a person familiar with Hildegard and a suffer of chronic ocular migraines, that seems a false dichotomy" Unless she means "mystical visions (proof of the Lord God)"

Hildegard
Migraine or Visions?

Medieval Migraines or Mystic Visions? Hildegard von Bingen

it's easy to self-segregate yourself out of cis spaces over fears about the worst cis actors and while those risks are worth being aware of they shouldn't stop you from being in those spaces any more than they stop you from taking hormones or changing your name
