Yep. Earlier this year I was interviewed by Sharyn Alfonsi of 60 Minutes about my Epstein investigation. Subsequently, CBS pulled the segment and fired the reporter. The MAGA buyout of media is aiding the Trump administration’s Epstein cover up.

Banks permitted millions in suspicious transactions tied to Epstein—and former 60 Minutes correspondent Sharyn Alfonsi had the story months ago. But the report would never air. trib.al/ZShZlIS

One more interesting point: this spring I sat down with Sharyn Alfonsi of 60 Minutes for an extensive interview about my Epstein investigation. Subsequently, CBS pulled the segment and fired the reporter. The MAGA buyout of media has unquestionably aided the Trump administration’s cover up here.

Bombshell new report out from my investigators this morning spanning our four year investigation into Jeffrey Epstein’s financial records. This report shows exactly how Wall Street protected Epstein and enabled his sex trafficking for decades. Mega thread following with some key points:

Acting AG Todd Blanche plans to outlaw abortion nationwide: We're working to get solutions so that the Dobbs decision becomes permanent in every single state. We're putting policies in place so that states can't do things like mail abortion drugs. We will have victory, and it will be permanent.

The whole point of the Bill of Rights is to protect the only true minority - the individual. It limits the governments power to harm the individual. The whole constitution is designed to limit the governments power.

Read this thread. My take: "Don't buy from them" is a "market solution" to societal problems. It is not effective at addressing societal problems. "Market solutions" is promoted by the corporate world to prevent government action to stop corporate harms, which, when done right, IS effective.

the TLDR is, yes blaming e.g. carbon emissions only on the producers of fossil fuels is dumb but the "midtwit" take that has emerged the past five years that the silliness of that take means ownership and distribution mechanisms are irrelevant to the social impact of consumption is also very wrong

Today is the last day of public comment on a rule that would force cancer and HIV patients to prove "significant impairment" so they can keep their exemption to Medicaid work requirements. This "will kill people, I’m literally living proof of that," said one patient with a brain tumor.

Trump to HIV and Cancer Patients: Get Back to Work - The American Prospect

A surprise rule added to the Big Beautiful Bill could disrupt access to Medicaid for people with serious illnesses who thought they were exempted from work requirements.

Said it a million times, I'll say it again - it's the same part of their brains (yeah yeah I know) that keeps going back to the church whose pastors are kiddie-diddlers and rapists and adulterers and druggies and drunks and live in million dollar mansions while the congregants/voters pay for it.
