Very chill body doubling space happening in 40 mins for those who need it. It’s usually just a small group of Gaylors in a zoom room listening to a playlist they create together, putting in the chat what they’d like to achieve in the 2 hours & sharing when they get things done. 10am EDT/3pm BST

Soooo if you wanna get silly with other Gaylors for whatever reason today - I happen to be already hosting an online games session in 4hours. We’ve done two of these already over at Friends of Dorothea & they’re always fun ways to connect that don’t centre Taylor but centre community.

🎲 "Baby Let The Games Begin" Coffee House: Thursday 30th - 11:30am PDT, 2:30pm EDT, 7:30pm BST
This is a coffee house where we play online games together like Code Names.
2 hours

🛸 Body Doubling - Drop In (SJ's Version) - Friday 31st: 7am PDT, 10am EDT, 3pm BST
2 hours

🧣 Red Monthly Group Taster: Friday 31st: 12pm PDT, 3pm EDT, 8pm BST

☕️Coffee House (Evelina's Version) - Saturday 1st: 10am PDT, 1pm EDT, 6pm BST

“I think Taylor & Travis were fantastic throughout” is such an interesting way of putting things IMO. I just don’t imagine describing a bride & groom that way. Then again, I’ve never been to a wedding that has that large of a guest list watching on…

There’s a sweetness to Adam that’s in all his movies… (including this one 😉) and “Taylor and Travis were incredible”??? As in they gave great performances? It all sounds like a film review… we’re rolling 🎥 🎞️ 🍿 😎 #performanceartlor #gaylor

Going into The Odyssey & based on what everyone’s said I’m excited to see if I find it enjoyable or hate it. Either way, 3 hours of aircon in a heat wave here I comeeee

On Friday, I’m running a taster session for Monthly Groups. This is the first time I’m doing this as I want to give folks who aren’t sure what to expect an opportunity to try it out. These are sacred spaces where small groups of Gaylors meet every month, share their lives & set intentions.

Some of the people who came to the Monthly Groups throughout last year were kind enough to write some testimonials on why they enjoyed these spaces, in case this helps give you an idea of why they might be beneficial to you!

Monthly Group Testimonials:
Below are direct quotes from those who were in monthly groups during 2025, to help you get a sense of what this process meant for them and how it might help you:
"I have really enjoyed the small group sessions this year for intentional connection and friendship. It has a different vibe to most other spaces I access currently and I am really appreciative of the time, the facilitation, and the wonderful people I get to know on a deeper level. Also tess if you ever need a side job I bet you could make guided meditation audios/videos because every time we do It I'm like. ahh tess's voice feels like a warm hug, and it makes it so much easier to relax into the space!" - MC
"I have enjoyed the expected structure with some leeway for where the time leads us. I also appreciate having goals that feel achievable and not based in diet culture or capitalism." - Brittany
"I really like getting to know fellow Friends of Dorothea better, and I love that this is a space of queer neurodivergents. I love the way they are structured, because the meditation in the beginning allows me to really get into the mindset, and gives my ADHD time to transition to focusing on reflection. My small group is super supportive and we've become friends outside of our group as well, which makes me so happy. I love how open and honest everyone is, and it really helps to remind me that a lot of us have similar struggles, and we're able to problem solve together, and see similar situations from a different perspective. I know Tess puts a lot of time and energy into facilitating these groups and has created a beautiful safe space, and I really appreciate it." - anonymous

Taylor’s last lead single/MV from TLOAS was Elizabeth Taylor… wait what?! In the lead up to one of the most famous, talked about weddings in pop culture history? I know this is old news but I just thought about it for the first time yesterday & it’s wild to me that she did that.

That. Was. So. Fun. I loved reminiscing & analysing & sharing the love of this record with other gaylors. One of my favourite events in a while! I was glad so many others found it a difficult album to rank. Oh & it was so cool to remind ourselves of how gay this album is, esp in the showgirl era

Currently neck deep in autistic special interest preparing for the Folklore ranking comparisons Zoom in 1.5 hours 😬😅😇 Still tinkering w some of the scores and rated some sample songs from other albums to get my bearings. Wild to realise I think that Maroon isn’t my top song but Ivy & CLM are 🥇🥇

I keep forgetting to post about events on BlueSky but we’ve got our folklore anniversary party on Sunday where we’ll be going through the album track by track and comparing our rankings of songs. Tix are sliding scale for all financial situations, all welcome xx

Happy 2190 days of Folklore Gaylors! I’ll always remembering listening to ‘betty’ like 🤔🤔 but also googling “Taylor & Joe break up?” because the themes of the album confused me as a Swiftie 🙊 & as a FOLK GIRLIE it was an absolute dream come true for her to make this record, let alone ft Bon Iver!! 🥰

I follow a couple of non-official Taylor merch shops and one just posted this. I just keep giggling about it. 😂 Swifties are out here creating wedding merch. Spending actual dollars on this circus. I’m having a marvelous time while she ruins everything. 🤣😂🤣

“Coming to the site for our reopening August 1st ✨🫶🏻” Cream marble like tshirt designed to be a couple of the wedding favor (handkerchief w/ wedding logo, date, location and “So it’s gonna be forever…” )

This is where it all began and I’ll die on that hill. A TnT Love Story??? Strike a match & watch it blow? Love Story playing as she’s walking down the aisle?? This is my favourite tin foil hat I’ve ever made and I’ll have it super glued to my head for lifeeeee

‘What If It’s Right’ by Grace ft Marcus Mumford sounds like a forest in Forks & rain & sitting next to a window in a cafe with your sweater sleeves pulled up over half your hands & camp fires & a wind chime as the winds change & ‘evermore’ & bare feet sneaking across hardwood floors & incense

Lol I haven’t been on BlueSky much obviously - I really liked Gracie’s new album! Got teary & goosebumps at ‘What If It’s Right’, felt like it could’ve been on Evermore or on the Twilight soundtrack (in a complimentary way).

I went to a friend’s picnic on Saturday & they had a friend from California who offered me a gummy. I took half of one to be *safe* and LOLLLLLL I was high as a kite for hours. I was so silly and unmasked. I can’t believe that’s legal for some of y’all I’m so jealous.

Seeing the article I posted about yesterday speaking about celebrity weddings influencing the trend of white suits in the 90s, I looked up what famous weddings had white suits. We’ve got at least two weddings of LGBTQ+ celebrities to note - Elton John (w a whole lot of lavender) & Whitney Houston 👀

Whitney Houston & Bobby Brown both dressed in white on their wedding dayElton John dressed in white on his wedding day with a lavender ribbon on his hat and a lavender bow tie

For some reason both of them being in white feels tacky to me but I’d LOVE to be proved wrong. Is there tasteful “groom in white” examples out there? …I know there are a lot of weddings that don’t look tacky where the two people getting married are dressed in white but I digress… 🌈

I’m sorry but how do you listen to this and not realize or recognize how absolutely insane this is?? The evermore piano was on the stage they got married on which was on an elaborate set?? And then to get to the reception you walked onto that stage into a showgirl circus with literal games???
