For our final post about Tregs, we conclude by highlighting their promising therapeutic potential across a range of disease contexts. It is exciting to see how these therapies translate into real-world clinical practice! #dayofimmunology #irishimmunology #tregs
Building on our understand of the immunosuppressive role of Tregs, we can link this to their significance in autoimmunity and transplantation. In contrast to their beneficial role in autoimmunity and transplantation, Tregs can have detrimental effects in cancer. #dayofimmunology #irishimmunology
T-regs are very important in facilitating immune suppression! #dayofimmunology #irishimmunology #treg
Not all T-regs are the same! T-regs can differ based on where they came from, where they are found and what functions they carry out. Read the post below for more info! #dayofimmunology #tregs #irishimmunology
In the lead up to the #dayofimmunology our spotlight will focus on T-regulatory cells and the art of immune balance. Keep up to date throughout the week to learn more about T-regulatory cells! #dayofimmunology #irishimmunology #tregs #immunesystem
Check out our interview with Prof Kingston Mills and featuring Dorian Dederko in celebration of the #DayofImmunology 🥳 #IrishImmunology
From Nobel-winning discovery to real therapies 🧬 Kingston Mills & Dorian Dederko explain Tregs, their role in autoimmunity, and how antigen-specific Tregs could make treatments safer and more effective. 🔬 #DayofImmunology #Tregs #ThankYouImmunology
