An edit button would be nice, but even cooler might be a button that lets me put a big "take rescinded" or "disavowed" in banner in bold red letters on old posts.

I've been thinking about "discernment" all day, thanks to @doctorow.pluralistic.net. It's an interesting framing, different from "taste" or "nuance" in a subtle way. Definitely going to add this one to my model of how to think about where we're heading.

Final weekend with my little Canon RP—I'm moving to a newer R6 Mk III and shipping the TO to my brother. I bought my first mirrorless camera for a trip to Yellowstone, and it's helped me make some of my favorite images over the past five years.

I don't disagree and the way it is, is very sad: AI copies and then worsens existing issues in writing as with every other sphere it touches. AI boomeranging now causes us to suspect less creative (for example, due to being junior) writing as maybe being AI. And that's kind of what they want. 1/

Reckon 20ish had significant AI assistance. On top of hundreds of others recently I'm starting to see patterns. Are other editors are seeing the same or similar? 1/
