Been feeling weird for like a month or so but was too busy to find the time to go. Went to urgent care yesterday on a whim and turns out my dumb ass was raw dogging mild pneumonia lol

After learning how to "properly" draw, you cannot draw bad art in any form afterwards. Even if you try to draw badly on purpose, it isn't convincing at all. There is a unique, raw power and emotion in art that only comes with little to no skill that an experienced artist can never touch again

Real though, even meanspirited jokes about anime were rife in western animation in the 90s and 00s. I graduated from college in 2012 and still nearly all of my professors actively discouraged anime styles. IMO it took until the mid 2010s for anime to reach mainstream status in the US

Screaming, crying. The set I've been working on for over a year has FINALLY been announced, and it is SO BEAUTIFUL. I've been proud of a lot in my career but getting to contribute to this takes the cake. This is so important for me and I hope y'all love it as much as I do 🖤
