What happened with Isaiah and his dad (chingy) is really unfortunate to play out on the internet. I hope my sons never have to go through that (and if you know me personally you know my youngest ain’t scared to set the record straight about that white lady who left him!)

There’s a Black-owned restaurant that I love and the food and drinks are 🔥🔥🔥 people use to complain about the auto 18% gratuity but if you look at the demographic, it was the smart thing 😂 the food/drinks/vibe is so good people stopped whining though! I’m a 25% gworl myself so I have no complaints
I enjoy the videos black folks make that are culturally relevant. But I also wish we didn’t make them because there’s too much sharing of what our culture is. The ins and outs of our language, verbal and physical communication. Our food. The intricacies of who we are. More gatekeeping please.

I’m pretty strict with bedtime and quiet hours and the boys always try to fight it. I let them think they got away with being up late last night AND I ain’t wake nobody up this morning. It’s 7:49 and their ride gets here at 8:10. They fucked around and found out today!

The days are starting to shorten. I know we’ve got 2 weeks of summer left and Fall is my favorite season but I need all the sunlight I can get!
