We spent almost 14 wonderful years together (13 years and 9 months). It was so fortunate that I found you and you came to my home on 6 January 2013.
Sports press is fascinating. According to them, footballers visiting their home town or going clubbing with their girlfriend while on an injury break is scandalous, while a football club paying off millions of EUR to an official of a referree body is normal and not worth talking about.
So many Americans on here pining for the good old days where they had more of a cognitive bias via patriotism. If you just want the orange one gone and don't see that merely as "a start", you've learned nothing other than how to let them hide better in plain sight.

Football associations can't decide if they want politics on the pitch or not. One moment it's "Politics and football shouldn't mix" when players express their opinions, the next clubs are making their players wear shirts with political messages, whether they agree or not, and players must obey?

Pretty much how I feel about it too. It is funny up to a point and only when people are clearly just joking. But directly using real life dictators, especially from not so distant past, takes it into weird, uncomfortable territory. Unless it's those videos that make him Napoleon, I think that's OK😂

The part that bothers him is the part that bothers me, using pictures of actual real life dictators to make silly jokes about a footballer is iffy at best. I wonder how his adopted brother or his NA teammate Samba feel about the Mobutu jokes? I've even seen a Hitler edit, that's beyond disgusting.

This is basically the Capitol propaganda in The Hunger Games (unsurprisingly - we know that the series was inspired by Collins flicking her TV between entertainment shows and footage of the war in Iraq). "No Capitol, no peace".
