My usual bar has a rooftop space above it. It’s private, for the employees and ppl who live on campus. Ppl always come in here asking about it and I always say “if everybody wants to go to the rooftop space with the scenic view and you never see anybody up there, what makes you think it’s possible?”

This weekend, one of my nephews learned a valuable lesson about what happens when you disrespect somebody’s mother. The mother in question? Mine. Told him that she’s his grandmother, but that’s my momma. My sister gave him a similar speech but I needed him to know that goes for all of us lol
