I had another work nightmare last night and it’s 10 years since I have been at the (toxic) company in question. I guess it never will really ever end. Also would love to say that it’s the only company I have nightmares from, but sadly not so much.

Anyone who has been in today’s corporate environment (which is inherently toxic) has seen nearly all these things Pelley has mentions happen. I sure have. And that isn’t to belittle what he has said. It’s more to describe how far we have fallen.

I’m not sure how people can be excited to still see Marvel films knowing they essentially laid off all the visual creative talent behind them. Granted all the visuals are built on the backs of comic content not getting a dime from them, so I guess it’s consistent.
When I first moved to Long Island I couldn’t figure out why everyone was so tired and bitter. Having been here a bit, now I get it. This place is designed to punish you, and keep its foot on your neck to choke you out.
Is there a guy doing better work out there than Ryan Gosling? I don’t think so.
I don’t think any of cocktails make it over here as I generally do them as stories. But here is a pretty one I made today called Big Sur Sunset.
