I've seen on the streets how powerful even the idea of rent controls are that give people so much hope! Pleasure this morning to help launch a report by the Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose and the New Economics Foundation into making them a reality.
Rent controls would save households up to Β£2,400 a year and the Government Β£2 billion a year. It's a no-brainer. But only the Green Party has a policy to introduce them.
Just had an amazing experience in the Wereldmuseum Heading over to the Rijksmuseum So far, trams have been my go to here in Amsterdam, very much vibe with the OVpay tap in tap out goodness!
