In some ways it's been good, but I miss the joy of sharing. I miss caring about my work beyond what my clients want. Disconnecting a bit was good and necessary for my mental health, but it's getting to the point where I'm losing sight of the joys of being an artist at all, and that's going too far.

I feel a bit bad for how little I have to share these days. With the advance of generative AI and the general state of the world I lost a lot of motivation to engage in social media but also to invest in my art beyond what's practically necessary.

The sky titan. One of the two dead gods. The one bounded to Althea's sword... Did its power dimmed with the divine creature? The princess could only hope that it didn't... "The Spark or Resilience" is my upcoming original comic project. 📖 Chapter 1 will be available this November. #SparkOfResilience

What is absolutely funny when you use a masculine nickname when you're a woman, is to discover the many scam messages I got to meet other women or to enlarge my... 😂 Wether en social medias or whatsapp.

Close-up of the Princess! It was important for me to give Althea her own traits and character: I wanted to focus on her face. Freed from a full scenery I could push specific details further. I've come a long way with humans, I'm more comfortable now. 🎨Full illustration on my feed! #SparkOfResilience

A digital illustrated teaser. The silhouette of a close-up elven woman portrait with the shadow of two hands holding a crown projected on her face. The colors are dark and fiery. A logo in the middle of the picture reads "Spark of Resilience". A title at the bottom reads "The journey begins this november".

🔥 Althea Krone 🐦The sword she carried could not resurrect her people despite its magic. Princess over ashes, her kingdom no longer held armies to join the war. But could she? "Spark of Resilience"is my upcoming original comic project. To lead the story with her blazing torch, I present you Althea. ⬇️

Digital illustration. A close-up elven woman portrait, with straight blonde hair, blue eyes. She's wearing dark regal coat with detailed feather embroidery fastened high arround her neck. She faces the viewer with a weary, jaded expression. The shadow of two hands holding a crown is projected across her eyes and the background. She stands enveloped in a warm, fiery blaze with glowing embers and ash particles flying around her.

I love seeing wonky beginner art of people who are clearly exited about creating. Because with every line they draw, they get better. And it makes me wonder what kind of masterpieces they will come up with in the years to come.

My fellow artists : what is an artblock to you? It seems people have a different vision from mine. For me, artblock is when your mind stops you from drawing. You have fear, trauma, pressure... Something that stay for months and years. When from exhaustion, it's burnout. Not artblock. (Plz rest❤️)

Let's have a close up on this one! I'm especially proud of the hand on picture 2! The scales took me hours and I had to stop myself for the background ones. Details only on the focus. 😄 It was a great exercise to just suggest the textures elsewhere. 🎨 Full illustration ↓

This made me remember why Gale is still deeply rooted into my mind... We both faced this voïd when we hit one of our darkest moment in life. I wanted to share to you, once again, this piece Iv'e done for a fanzine. Let's have hope. ❤️ More than four files now?! Geat news for comics!
