The real headline from the birthright‑citizenship case isn’t the outcome. It’s that four Supreme Court justices signaled they believe a president can effectively rewrite the Constitution through executive order.

This Knicks team overcame the festering stench of Donald Trump. I think that gives them legitimate claim to the title of the best team of all time. Long may they reign. KNICKS now KNICKS forever!

Law & Order candidates are never focused on upholding the constitution, enforcing established law universally, or providing safety. It is always a guise to use the power of the state, army, and/or police to crush and destroy people and ideas they don't agree with or are in opposition to. Always.

We don't ordinarily publish posts at [checks watch] 8:51 PM on a Friday night, but state constitutional law expert Quinn @yeargain.bsky.social has an outside-the-box idea for reversing the VA Supreme Court that is very much worth taking seriously: Dems can simply lower the retirement age.

Sadly this level of scientific loss will not only be felt by those who voted for this (or those that weakly refused to vote against it)...but for those two groups, I do hope that every preventable death from these losses lays like an anchor around your conscious.

Absolutely extraordinary. The Democrats conceded *nothing* and got everything they demanded. They said no ICE/CBP funding, and that's precisely what happened. In other words, they did not cave. At all. But the GOP did—completely.

They won’t. Republicans aren’t mad gerrymandering exists; they’re mad that they’re not the only ones using it.

ICE agents will continue to execute our citizens in the streets for as long as they believe they can get away it. There will be more executions like this. What are our leaders doing to prevent it?
