Gen Con Art Show - This year I was amazed to receive this ribbon. It still hasn't sunk in. There are some many wonderful and supremely talented people that are part of the art show. I'm honored to just be in the room with everyone.

Life has been so full of big events over the past year that I’ve had a start stop start stop cycle on this piece. I’m so happy to have it right near finish line and in time for a Gen Con debut. Full reveal soon! This is for my book with Eye of Newt, The Summoner’s Guide to the Necronomicon.

Cthulhu painting work in progress.

Another great year at Origins! Big thanks to: everyone that visited the booth, the staff and the volunteers, the guy that brought me IPAs, and to the vendors that take care of one another. I love that the show is a safe space for everyone. 2027 application has been submitted!

Unfortunately I had to cancel C2E2 this year... because we bought a house and will be moving! You never realize how much art stuff you have until you box it up. I'm like a hoarder but in only one category.

I'm realizing I never shared any of the WizKids Pathfinder concept work I did a few years back. These goblins where lots of fun and the sculptors really made them look good. I feel fortunate to have been part of the team.

Context: this speech is from SIR THOMAS MORE, a history written, as near as scholars can tell, in the early 1600s by 6 or 7 people including Dekker, Heywood, Chettle, Shakespeare, and Munday. It was never performed, because Jacobean England was a police state and it was banned by the censor.

Sir Ian McKellen performing a monologue from Shakespeare’s Sir Thomas More on the Stephen Colbert show. Never have I heard this monologue performed with such a keen sense of prescience. Nor have I ever been in this exact historical moment.TY Sir Ian, for reaching us once again. #Pinks #ProudBlue
