I don't like Opus 5. It's more verbose, pedantic and incompetent than previous models. Is there a way to go back to Opus 4.8 in Claude Code? I might switch to using Codex if not - it's less verbose and produces great code going straight to the point.

While reviewing code with Claude Opus 4.8, it found a bug that, it said, we had fixed. It even gave us the git commit hash, and the name of the branch where we had fixed that. It proposed to backfill the data to correct what was wrong before the fix.

I'm now using a Cunpu 24" external display - gives me a resolution of 3008x1962 at 60Hz on the mac, I don't see any difference with the retina display on my Macbook M1. I didn't expect much for a 250 € display but I'm surprised!
