Words cannot describe how much this pisses me off. They are reneging because he’s gone too far according to their standards and philosophies (or lack there of). Meanwhile every marginalized community has warned their bean headed asses what the outcome would be if he were to be in office since 2016.

People got/are tired of the lesser devil who keeps moving to the right. Of genocide apologists and deniers. Of sending decades of abortion-saving emails, only to lose abortion, even after getting majorities. Of fighting their politicians for just $15/hr.

White people no matter where they’re from, get to go to other countries and be considered expatriates. While Black people, and brown people go to other countries and are considered immigrants. 
Secret fact about you? I had a bad car accident at 25. I like cars but never cared about driving because I always had access to public transportation. Everything changed when I moved to ATL. I got my driver's license at 50. I only care about the sound system in the car. Driving? Not that much 😜

The pandemic radicalized the GOP even further into delusional conspiracism. They exploited the very real fear, confusion, and distrust of Americans for political gain. They brought nutjobs into their coalition and mainstreamed fringe anti-science, anti-vax beliefs. Despicable, really.
Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com · 7d agoThe Fauci hearing perfectly illustrated how living through a once in a century pandemic somehow made Republicans far worse on public health. God forbid we face anything like covid again during Trump 2.0. There will be no Dr Fauci around to try to talk sense to Trump.
