We’ve found @taxjustice.net’s recent report really illuminating. Time for UK leadership at the UN Tax conventions negotiations to make global tax rules fairer and clamp down on big multinationals shifting their profits to dodge their fair share of tax!

If corporations paid ‘where they play’ not ‘where they say’, the UK would be up £13 billion a year. It's time we ended the corporate tax scam. 👉 www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

Gary Lineker is under fire. Here's what those attacking him are saying, why they're acting in bad faith, & why Gary and other millionaires are right that we need to tax the super rich. The critics want to muddy the water to make it seem deep, it's not - and we should pushback.

Your money or your life? Trump & Big Pharma’s demands have been met by Starmer - and new research in the BMJ shows the cost. Campaigners are now taking the Government to court to stop the disastrous US-UK medicines deal before it costs our #NHS £45bn and over 200,000 lives.

Important that MSF continues access to meds work. We can rapidly reduce HIV transmissions for $40 per person/year - through access to long-acting prevention medication. Gilead needs to stop extreme profiteering when the global HIV response is in crisis. www.doctorswithoutborders.org/access-to-LEN

Lenacapavir: Two Shots. $40. Everywhere.

A gamechanger in HIV prevention is now here: lenacapavir (LEN), an injection which only needs to be given twice a year and is nearly 100% effective in

61% of all political donations in the last quarter came from just 14 people Reform took in £9.3m from a handful of super rich donors British democracy is being bought. We urgently need action to take the money out of our politics

Some quick thoughts on Q1 2026 donations data from @electoralcommission.org.uk 🧵 HEADLINE STATS Total: £20.7m (excl. public funds) Biggest recipient: Reform £9.3m Biggest donor: Ben Delo £4m to Reform Donors giving £1m+: £9.2m (44%) from 3 donors Donors giving £250k+: £12.7m (61%) from 14 donors

I’m back from a short break - and found the Illicit Finance Summit expected this month has been pushed back to December, as tax havens continue to drag their heels on transparency. The UK Govt can issue empty threats, but we can’t take these seriously when they’ve allowed 3 missed deadlines to act.

🌴⛔ It’s clear the govt won’t end tax havens unless we make them. We’ve built a People’s Lobby — 100s of thousands signing, 10s of thousands lobbying MPs — and we’re getting close. Now we need to turn tough talk into action. Act now: actionnetwork.org/letters/expo...

If we wake up and find Trump unleashed devastation, Labour’s silence will be absolutely damning. If Trump has beyond hopefully de-escalated, it’s still damning. In the face of genocide, what exactly is the point of the silent UK Prime Minister?
