Can't stop thinking about how I'd feel about this Jays team if the deadline was exactly the same except they didn't do the Gausman deal
I totally understand that this is a gigantic caveat, but other than the Gausman deal, I kind of love this deadline for the Jays
Hoffman was unfairly scapegoated for the team's failures this year. Not that he wasn't frustrating, but also was made to wear the first half of a terrible year while many other, much guiltier players skated by. A fun reliever and a fun dude. Will cherish the Game 7 against Seattle forever.

Have appreciated Two True Outcomes on and off over the years. Had some great moments and many more not so great. Still appreciate getting something of possible value for a CF who can't throw or hit.
