Old white guy, woke lefty (sinistral, too). Like kayaking, photography, wildlife photography. Retired to QLD. 40 years in Canberra - don't diss the PS, they work harder than you in a crushing bureaucracy.

Intelligence is ideally determined by one’s ability to change their mind when presented with irrefutable evidence that contradicts previously held beliefs. By that measure, with few exceptions, Dunce Rump and GOP would all be considered morons, and MAGA cult totally brain dead.

"Go to an old cemetery. See all the baby graves from before the 1950s & 60s? After that, hardly any. That's when people started vaccinating their children against deadly childhood diseases. If you're unsure what to do to protect your kids, the answer is literally written in stone." ~ Michael Okuda

Go to a cemetery. See all the baby graves there from before the 1950s and 1960s? Then, hardly any. That's when people started vaccinating their kids.

We are witnessing a tipping point. Boreal forests that stored carbon for 1000s of years are now CARBON EMITTERS. Heatwaves make wildfires. Wildfires make more heat. More heat makes more fires. This feedback loop is what scientists warned you about.
