Since I'm learning DaVinci Resolve, I have youtube in a browser I'm not logged into. Filled up with DaVinci video recommendations plus guitar stuff and other random things. Kind of odd looking outside my usual "algorithm." Learned something new.

> I know you hear from me a lot and you deserve an explanation for why. No, @jamestalarico.bsky.social . I deserve that you stop begging for 💰 from me, a broke person, in a different state. I also deserve you not making hundreds of micro variations to your ads, preventing me from blocking them.

Dear DNC, I have already repeatedly taken James Talarico and Jon Ossoff to task for begging money off of me, a broke person in a state that isn't theirs. I have confidence Talarico and Ossoff intend to actually do the jobs if elected. Until the DNC can show the same, no donations for you.

I figure we’ve got a day or two until Mitch McConnell takes a “sudden turn for the worse.” Everyone involved in this conspiracy to defraud Kentucky voters needs to be prosecuted. Meanwhile, when will the Epstein class be brought to justice?

Been meaning to talk about LLMs burning library of Alexandria by making human made work impossible to reach via slop. Unfortunately, Anthropic felt that wasn’t literal enough and have been physically destroying books too. www.yahoo.com/news/us/arti... Because laws only apply to people, it’s legal.

Anthropic Destroyed Millions of Books to Train Claude: Was That Legal?

Anthropic destroying books to train Claude was ruled legal. Here is the rule that made it work, explained simply.

Me and Shotcut are having a time today. I have 2 clips that need to be interspersed. Both have separate audio that needs to be merged. The simple solution would be to let me replace the audio track in the video. No go. Official solution is to export the joined video. Which is cumulatively bad.

General reminder that I make my own covers. The ones I've done so far have been painstakingly made in Blender and then laid out in Inkscape. One of two upcoming books will be made (again by me) in Krita. The other, I haven't decided yet. I may do paper craft for The Novel. No AI involved anywhere.

I have a sneaking suspicion that someone of a different religion (or irreligion) tried the same, they'd be stopped pretty quickly. Jesus may have said to make disciples but, if he did, he also said those who did stuff like this have had their reward.

Evangelist Whitney Lynn says she preaches on planes because she loves “a captive audience.” She's not alone. It's becoming a trend. If spreading your message requires listeners who can't escape, maybe it's not as compelling as you think. www.friendlyatheist.com/p/christian-...
