Scorsese's storyboards for Taxi Driver were a big inspiration for me, a poor artist, to feel confident drawing ideas to share with our illustrators for DI. I can't understand why so much of the older generation of artists are swayed by this crap when they already had it all figured out.

I remember when I was first getting into music, I heard The Rolling Stones "Waiting On A Friend" and thought the saxophone on it was the most beautiful thing I'd heard in my life. When I got into jazz later, I learned why: it was Sonny Rollins. One of the greatest musicians to ever live. RIP.

I went so hard on drawing practice for a month that I may have burned myself out a bit, but I've definitely felt improvements. This kind of portrait painting would have been unthinkable to me a year ago. Long way to go to get to confident figure drawing, but I'm having more fun learning than ever 👍

Great cast, and it uses its gameplay mechanics very tastefully to serve the story. Getting the true ending drove me insane, but it's up there with some of my favorite ADVs 😮 Was inspired to try sketching Sato 🐢
