I feel like LLMs should by law be required to remind people that they feel nothing, they are not their friend, they are a sophisticated puppet every time they sense people are starting to treat them too much like people.

yeah, my general feeling in the US is that there aren't any particularly brave people anywhere near the heights of money or power in this country. cowards and villains all the way down.
"Cool dude, see you in discovery!" is the obvious UNO Reverse card to Trump's attempts to bully organizations by suing them for a trillion dollars. It's a massive indictment of the US system that one after another institutions and major organizations settled and paid bribes rather than play it.

I never thought I’d see testimonies like this before the U.S. Congress. These are grown men who should know fact from fiction, yet they stand there shamelessly gaslighting the American people & performing for an audience of one. It’s both astonishing & deeply sad to see how far the U.S. has fallen.

It's hard to put into words how racist this is, but also notice how the anchor lies and calls El-Sayed an "immigrant from another Muslim country."
one time I said I thought mae martin was cute, a not uncommon sentiment among mae martin fans, and a (kind of former at this point) friend snitch tagged them and kind of admonished me for not fan worshipping them properly with a focus on their entire body of work and it was very awkward.
I do truly think that complaints about how the victims aren't centered in a morality tale of man grappling with his own war crimes are more than a little obtuse.
